Fred Crouch is, by far, the best contractor we've had work for us – thoughtful, creative, and trustworthy, resulting in work that was top notch.  We had a set of architectural plans, but as with many old houses, you run into surprises along the way. Fred was able to overcome this, and achieve some very creative results that improved upon the original plans.  As the ultimate test of trust, we were out of town during most of the work; Fred sent us pictures, phoned as needed, and kept the job moving along.  We can't say enough about our experience – I guess the smile on our faces every time we walk into our kitchen, porch, and playroom is testimony to Fred's great work.

Fred Crouch completed two sizable renovations (in 1992 and 2002) on our 1920 house. The work ranged from closing up old doors, moving walls, and dealing with backyard drainage problems to replacing the kitchen, rewiring the entire house to bring it up to code, adding a family room and upstairs bedroom, and reworking three bathrooms.  Fred is conscientious, resourceful, budget-conscious, and dependable.  We recommend him highly.
